Student Success Statement: Paul Hatch

“ When you tell a lie it leads to another.” - Paul Hatch
I agree with Paul Hatch when he says this statement. We all know that everyone lies at some point in their lives. We lie because we don’t want to get in trouble, or you want to protect someone. Whatever the reason is well more like excuse, you lead to a lie. It doesn’t matter how small the lie is, it's still a lie.  It can affect many people with such a little lie.  It can affect you too.  You need to think about people around you.  You need to think about what your action will cause.  We all know that after a bad thing we do there are consequences.  We all know that there are consequences yet we still do them anyways.  Why is that?  We still do it because you think that you can get away with it, because you don’t want to deal with it.  You say you will deal with it later but then time passes and you don’t.  This is due to laziness.  People like to be lazy and want things to be done for them.  But that is not how life works.  You need to learn to face your problems and become responsible.  You need to face the fact that for every action there is a consequence.  There is no need for lies because you can simply tell the truth.  It is that simple, tell the truth and you won’t have to think of all the bad possibilities.
