   This statement to me means that to obey is the right thing to do. It reveals that if you want someone to trust you, you need to prove to them that they can trust you. For example, if you want a friend to trust you and they ask for something like a favor to keep a secret, they expect you to keep the secret. They expect you to keep the secret because its not your secret to tell. They might want you to keep the secret because they think that if it go's around they think it might hurt someone or offend someone. They think they can trust you for anything because sometimes people need someone to talk to. They need a person to talk to, to ask for advice or for your opinion. They want someone to talk to because sometimes all that people need is to get that burden off of them. That's why obedience is important or when you are asked for something from your parents and they expect you to obey but then you do something else and then they don't trust you anymore. that is why obedience is very important.
