What this quotes significance means to stand up for yourself and for others. It doesn't matter if you do it alone, what matters is what you did, if you prevented it, or if you helped it occur. I agree with Thomas S. Monson, it is true that many people are cruel, there are so many people in the world that are bad. We don't know what kind of people the world holds until we see for ourselves. We have to be aware that there are a little bit of people that are good and kind. We may or may not know who these people are, but we know that they exist. You get to decide in the world who you want to be. Which group would you want to be in? The pure and kind one or the evil and wrong one? You have to decide when the time is right, you will decide if you want to help or destroy the very own world you live in. We choose and we want to help and make people feel wanted. You help people and stand up with them and face the people that don't want to help, the ones that want to cause destruction to the world they live in.
